Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
These Terms govern your use of YellowRoute Academy (the "Service"), provided by RTS FLEET MAINTENANCE LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
The Service provides online training, assessments, certificates, and compliance records for school bus drivers and transportation organizations.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or for fraud or spam.
- Infringe intellectual property rights.
- Interfere with or probe security (malware, scraping, bypassing access controls).
- Share account credentials or take a quiz/certification on someone else's behalf.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including all course content, software, branding, and documentation, is owned by RTS FLEET MAINTENANCE LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service within your purchased plan.
6. Payment, billing, and merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Seat bundles and add-on seats are billed at the prices shown at checkout. Subscriptions, if any, renew at the interval shown until cancelled.
7. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. Refund requests are processed by Paddle.
8. Service level
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination your right to access the Service ends; we may retain compliance records as required by law and our retention schedule.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which RTS FLEET MAINTENANCE LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
