This service ("YellowRoute Academy") is operated by RTS FLEET MAINTENANCE LLC("we", "us", "our"), the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use our online training platform.

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, organization affiliation.
  • Training data: course progress, quiz results, certificates, completion timestamps.
  • Support data: messages you send us and related metadata.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/device identifiers, log data, cookies.
  • Payment data is collected and processed by Paddle (see Section 5); we do not store full card details.

3. How we use your data

  • Create and manage your account and organization membership (contract performance).
  • Deliver courses, issue certificates, and maintain compliance records (contract performance).
  • Provide customer support (legitimate interest).
  • Prevent fraud and secure the service (legitimate interest, legal obligation).
  • Improve the product (legitimate interest).
  • Send service-related emails; marketing only with your consent.

4. Legal basis

We process personal data on the basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing your data

We share personal data only with:

  • Service providers (cloud hosting, database, email delivery, analytics) acting as our processors.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record, for sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Your organization administrator (training progress, completion status) where you joined via an org.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
  • Authorities where required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain training records for as long as required for compliance and audit (typically the life of the account plus the period required by applicable transportation regulations), and then delete or anonymize the data when no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. 8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect your personal data.
